Well my journal entry about Iceland never got completed. But let me tell you it was an amazing experience, with wonderful people, and gorgeous scenery in ever direction.
Got me Thesis completed and turned in about mid July. Huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Still need to defend it, but the hard part if over now.
I'm moving in December. I'll still have my dissertation to do before I get the Ph.D, but what better place for a gerontologist to do research than in Florida, right?
I've gone completely crazy with the new DVD burner. Three months into my Blockbuster movie pass; becoming the store legend as the guy who visit four times a day; I'm pretty well ready to open up my own branch.
About two months ago I joined a band. The upstairs neighbor sprung a leak one day, and when the maintenance man came in to check the stream of water coming out of my ceiling he noticed my guitars and asked me to join in with some of his buddies as the bass player. Come to find out half the band is made up of people who needed maintenance. Playing is a very old dream realized.
Things are still going extremely well with Erin and I. She is a constant amazement and I admire her in many ways. Everything I do these days, school related or otherwise, is in preparation to join her in December.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to catch up on your journal entries.

Wow! Well, I guess so!
Congratulations! I'm so incredably happy for you!
Have you talked about children? Your both so cute, your kids wouldn't have a choice but to be utterly adorable.
Has your brother met him yet?

We're thinking about children, but for for at least five years. We want to travel and really spend time together, hopefully buy a house if we can, before makin' the babies. But they would be musical and artistic, we know that!
I'm very happy for you, too!!
